A little green sprout planted at the heart of the city in Hong Kong .The concept of greenery and environmental protection begins at the Central Business District which is currently surrounded by sky-rise buildings. May this green plant turns the “black”city into green.

Core design idea:
If I am an environmental hero, i will use my effort to make a change in the society the in use of natural resources to solve pollution problem. the areas i put my effort in protecting the environment shall contributeto building a green city.
Demonstration:
use of solar energy to light up the city, introduce green measures in the city, use of bicycle instead of vehicles to protect the environment.
Theme:
Name and aim of restaurant (Meaning: strive for freshness)
Core design idea:
Freshness of food is kept and immediately delivered to customers to taste
Demonstration:
This Japanese restaurant is famous for making sashimi & sushi that are sold at the stores. Freshness of food is their key mission. Sushi & sashimi are made upon catching a fish from the sea and then immediately delivered to the hands of customer. Customers shall use chopsticks to taste their fresh piece of food.considering this Japanese food is brought into a Chinese city, Japanese food culture is mixed with Chinese culture ,therefore, a calligraphic style character is applied.

Every success in Blue House
Core design idea:
Blue house succeeded in achieving different prizes in every competitions held in school, sports or academic. Blue House become the ”star” and each of aus is proud of being a member of Blue House
Demonstration:
Be caution! “star of Blue” is coming. The goal of Blue house is to maximize prizes and be the strongest house in school so as to draw every attention frome other house. To achieve this target members of Blue house are willing to join hands and fight for every opportunity.
Theme:
It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness
Core design idea:
Light up a candle to give support tho those are suppressed instead of pointing fingers to the others or just ignoring them.
Demonstration:
Person who is under suppression or deprivation of rights is being squeezed hopelessly. we shall not only hold our sympathy but try to take action to give a hand to them. We try our effort to become a candle to light up this world meaning to give hope , so that they have strength to live on, to strive under the darkness. Our candle of light shall never end to support those striving under deprived or suppressed conditions.
As a committee member of the BLMCSS Arts Festival 2015, I am requested to design a poster to let teaches to choose for the event. The idea of my work is based on a slogan “Life is a line, arts is a dot” and various colours of circles are used to create as dots. One of the posters I drew is using lines background to create shapes in order to show simple arts elements which form incredible visual images. This may further deliver the message and change the misconception of people: Arts is not dull or unrelated to reality, but the most common thing that makes our lives more colourful.
Since I love collecting name cards , I decide to design my own one. I put flower and my own logo “zeong4” as the element of my design because they can represent my interest and identity . I simply use black and white as the colour tone of the design because I prefer simple and meaningful things, which this can represent my characteristic as well.
In the current society of Hong Kong, there are converse voices among people and they always pointing finger to others but never put themselves in the others’ place. Some says it is the result of nowhere to express anger toward disparity between the rich and the poor. However, I have another point of view which this phenomenon is cause by the habits in their childhood.
Ages before, children used to use simple materials to create their toys by themselves because of limited resources and cannot affort prices. Also since they had little toys, they would like to play with their peers in order not to be bored. As a result, they were willing to share or play their toys with each other. I think this made them build up good relationship with the others and thus generated a happier childhood.
However, nowadays ,it is rare to find a children who do not have electronic game at home not to mention a home-made toy. besides, due to the popularity of the Internet and mobile, children playing with their peers are minority. This may reduce their opportunity to develop their creativity and relationship with the others and further build up a habit of self centre.
I think sharing is the key to develop a good personal character and relationship with people. Because through this action, children can learn communication skills,more specifically, not only to treat others in love, care and respect, but also think about others in another perspective.
I believe that when a person learn this in his childhood, his sense of belonging would build up continuously in his growth.If everyone is like this, I believe our society will become united and also harmonic since everyone love one another.
In my point of view, the toys in the past had a great influence on a person growth and even the whole society. therefore , I decids to make use of toys to change the habits of children gradually.
